Floristic Composition and Species Richness of Mangrove Ecosystems in Pantai Panjang – Pulau Baai Nature Park, Bengkulu Province, Indonesia

Bengkulu Province is located in a coastal area with numerous mangroves. Pantai Panjang –Pulau Baai Nature Park one of the mangrove regions City. This study aims to analyze floristic composition and species richness ecosystems Panjang-Pulau Park, Three stations diverse ecological conditions were sampled using transect lines method.  Nested observation plots made along line size 10mx10m for tree strata, 5mx5m sapling 1mx1m seedling strata.103 established across three identify number individual plants, diameter measurement, soil pH, salinity, substrate type. The analysis found 1741 plants from 8 true belonging 6 families. most common was Rhizhopora mucronata which belongs Rhizophoraceae family. Casuarina equisetifolia, discovered at Station 1, categorized as rather than plant. diversity index (Shannon-Wiener) moderate. index, however, low all stations. evenness high stations, except stratum 3, where it that pH levels ranged between 5.3 6, while salinity 4.3 9.3. types identified muddy sandy mud.
